Study Tour


Kolkata City tour with Belur Math, Dakshineswar Temple, River side Ganga by Ac bus INR 450 per head starting time 8.30am ends at 5pm. No lunch provided. A lunch time will be allocated to avail lunch in a hotel. Minimum of pax 10 heads.

Weekend (Saturday & Sunday) Cruise package 45 heads on V.Sumangal, they will try to adjust 5 more people. 5pm to 8pm ( 3 hours) with a light snacks and tea on Board, Babughat Jetty, Kolkata-Crulse Past, Dakshineswar Temple - Evening Aarti at Belur Math- Babughat. Package cost INR 450 per head. Minimum pax for tour to be Operational - 30 Pax.

6th International Conference of SIVUS International on Intellectually Challenged : A Life of Truth and Trust , Kolkata, India will be held on 04-05 October 2018 with the kind support of the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture.

The conference venue is Shivananda Hall ‘The Ramkrishna Mission Institute of Culture’, Golpark, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The venue is one of the most modern ,Prestigious and world class conference centers of Kolkata.The main auditorium is equipped for individual public address facilities, multimedia projectors and other electronic equipments.

The idea of the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture (RMIC) was conceived in 1936 as one of the permanent memorials to Sri Ramakrishna(1836-1886) on the occasion of his first birth centenary. It was formally established on January 29, 1938 as a branch of the Ramakrishna Mission topropagate the message of Vedanta as propounded by Sri Ramakrishna.

The entire building complex was deemed a ‘Heritage Building’ by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation in 2007 and continues as such.

The Institute is well known for its philanthropic, educational and cultural activities all over the world. Based on the philosophy of the unity of human life, the Institute endeavors to make people aware of the richness of different cultures all over the world and also of the need for intercultural appreciation and understanding.

The Institute has a number of departments including a School of Languages, a large Library, Vivekananda Archives, a Publication Department and a Centre for Ideological Studies and Research. The Institute has a busy schedule of lectures, seminars, symposia, scripture classes, study circles, elocution competitions and other religious and cultural programmes. Attached to the Institute is an International Scholars' House. It is meant for the guests of the Institute, scholars and students who come from different parts of India and from abroad at the invitation of the Institute or of the universities and other learned societies for study, research or simply for the exchange of ideas with Indian scholars. This bringing together of scholars of different nationalities and backgrounds helps to create a bridge that unitesminds and spirits.
